The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, on Tuesday, 30-6-2026, began conducting a competitive examination for students applying for admission to graduate programs (Masters and doctoral) for the academic year 2027-2026, in the Departments of plastic and Performing Arts, amid an organizational and scientific atmosphere characterized by sobriety and fluidity.
The exams were conducted under the direct supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, and under the follow-up of the committee supervising the competitive examinations, and in the presence of the heads of the relevant scientific departments, where all the requirements and procedures were provided to ensure the conduct of the exam in accordance with the approved ministerial regulations and instructions, in order to achieve the highest standards of justice and transparency in the admission process.
These exams come within the framework of the college's keenness to attract qualified scientific and technical competencies, and to strengthen graduate studies programs in order to contribute to the advancement of scientific research and academic production in various fields of the arts.
At the end of the exam, the Deanship of the college expressed its wishes to all the students to succeed and succeed, and to crown their efforts with outstanding results that contribute to continuing their scientific career and serving the academic and artistic movement.
