Her master's thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra discussed "metaphor in digital art and its relationship to contemporary formation".
The message presented by the researcher (Hassan Rahim Mana) aims to identify the intellectual, artistic and aesthetic premises of the metaphor, and its representations in contemporary digital art.
The message included highlighting the aesthetics of metaphor in modern art, to deconstruct the aesthetics of contemporary digital visual output, by finding aesthetic symbols that were recalled from classical art, and employing modern technologies in the structure of contemporary works.
The thesis concluded that the metaphor in digital art expresses the aesthetic dimension through the relationship that contemporary art shares with the classical heritage, which carries all sample models, as well as through the openness of experimental artistic work.
