A master's thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra, examined "individualism and its works in light of the trends of modern European Sculpture".
The thesis presented by the researcher (Ahmed Dayim Hadi) aims to identify the individuality and its presence in light of the trends of modern European Sculpture.
The thesis included the topic of individuality and its works because of the knowledge material it presents that can benefit those who have an interest in sculpture in general and modern European art in particular, from students, researchers, artists and interested people.
The thesis of individualism imposes the reality of aesthetic paradoxes by which it departs from traditional harmony and symmetry. The artistic value is starting from the shock of combining dissonances, or by hitting the ideal body by deforming it, and here it works to leave the mental expectation of aesthetic values and replace the surprise that is based on the individuality of the sculpture.
