The thesis included the study of the concept of post-structuralism, which is considered as a radical reaction that dismantles the major centers and opens up new horizons for creative outputs. As cognitive and procedural mechanisms of action within the sculptural text, which gave contemporary sculpture a form different from the familiar constructivist contexts.
The thesis concluded that post-structuralist thought as a philosophical incubator contributed to the legitimization of the plastic rebellion against the restrictions and previous academic laws, directing attention to the margins and forgotten parts of contemporary sculpture.
