The local government in Al-Zubair district honored a number of university professors who reside in the district and who have obtained the title of professorship from the University of Basra who have contributed to supporting the educational process at the university and the city.

The ceremony was attended by a number of professors from Basra University, Basra University of Oil and Gas, and a group of educational elites.

And Dr. Tahrir Ali Hussein, a teacher at the College of Fine Arts, is among the honored professors

The meeting discussed how to support the local government by providing consultations and scientific studies that would contribute to the construction and reconstruction plans of the city as well as finding effective solutions to solve the crises the country is going through.
