The Department of Fine Arts at the College of Fine Arts, University of Basra, organized an exhibition of plastic arts entitled (Colorful Experiments).

The Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, said that the exhibition included more than 30 artworks that embodied various realistic topics that reflect the local and Arab environment, and works that dealt with topics that reflect nature.

He pointed to the challenge of students and presenting their creativity despite the circumstances of the pandemic, stressing the continuation of the practical aspect despite all circumstances.

Dr. Tahrir Ali, one of the teachers supervising the students’ work, stated that the presented works varied in methods, performance and topics, and they all simulate realistic art, whether they were Iraqi realism or global realism, as well as the great effort made by the students in completing these works despite the difficult conditions that the country and the world are going through following a pandemic.
