The Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, participated in the symposium organized by the Cultural Center at the University of Basra under the title “Our Culture, Where To?” On Marla Hall in Bab Al Zubair Colleges Complex.

The seminar, which was moderated by the Director of the Cultural Center, Prof. Dr. Karim Abboud, included five interventions. Al-Kinani’s participation included a paper in which he presented proposals to improve visual culture and ways to address the problems it faces, as well as a proposal to establish a unified council for culture and arts that unifies visions and brings together all stakeholders under its umbrella according to an internal system. .

In addition to appealing to the concerned authorities about completing the building of the cultural center in Al-Ashar, because of its importance for the advancement of culture and art in the city.

At the end of the symposium, the necessary recommendations were formulated for the advancement and upgrading of the cultural movement in the city.
