A master's thesis at the College of Fine Arts, University of Basra, examined the epic nature of the Taff incident in Islamic painting.

The thesis presented by researcher Samir Hadi Ibrahim included reading the study of the epic throughout history in its literary and artistic forms, up to the twentieth century.

The aim of the thesis is to put the Islamic images that documented the eternal incident of Tuff, and how the epic character is reflected in it in its simulated and symbolic forms.
