The Department of Art Education at the College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, held a comprehensive planning festival for all departments and colleges of the University of Basrah, under the supervision of Prof. Zain Al-Abidin Jassem and Ms. Fadia Aqil Jabbar
The festival, which was held in the courtyard of the Deanship of the Faculty of Fine Arts, included more than 45 works of art whose topics varied between realism, portraiture and still life.
The festival was inaugurated by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, and attended by a group of professors and students of the College of Fine Arts.
The festival concluded by selecting the first winning students within the direct planning event by a committee consisting of Prof. Jenan Mohamed Ahmed, Prof. Dr. Qais Issa and Prof. Dr. Raed Hassan Shari
