As part of the French e-learning project launched by the Francophone university agency (AUF) to accelerate the digital transformation of higher education in the Middle East (FSPI) in cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of higher education and scientific research, the University of Basra has started training its teaching staff from all faculties, numbering more than 250 teaching and teaching staff on the reverse grade course divided into small groups not exceeding twenty participants in each course.
The head of the University of Basra team for the French e-learning project, Dr. Adi Bashir Issa, said that the course includes many important topics to develop the academic staff capability at our university and includes practical applications on the latest digital tools in the field of electronic content industry, learning design and evaluation.
The course included the delivery of a project by each trainee on the electronic platform, where the project includes the design of a study unit according to the pillars of the inverted grade and downloading all the relevant basic educational resources in addition to the list of good practices and infocrafic inverted grade.
It is worth mentioning that the University of Basra has seven trainers accredited by the Francophone agency for universities who have received intensive training by the organizer, including the preparation of an electronic educational course, orientation and guidance in the digital educational environment and the reverse class.
