Admission Guide

Admission rules to the College of Fine Arts and its divisions:

1- Students who have graduated from preparatory studies (scientific and literary) and professional studies in the applied arts branch are entitled to apply for admission from those whose averages are not less than 60% 000
2- Graduates of institutes of fine arts and the Institute of Music Studies have the right to apply for admission, provided that their average is not less than 65% 000
3- The first (5%) graduates of the Institute of Crafts and Folk Arts in the Arts Department of the Ministry of Culture are entitled to apply, provided that their average is not less than 65% 000
4- Acceptance of students from the sons of mortals according to the admission controls mentioned in paragraph (1) after submitting a letter from the Iraqi Artists Syndicate confirming that the student’s relatives (father or mother) are artists 000
 5- Admission of talented students whose totals are not less than (520) to other professional branches at a rate of (65%) who have artistic talents after taking the test in the college and the gifted student submitting two or more of the following documents:
• Evidence of his practice of art from official artistic institutions
• Folders, wall stickers (posters).
• Pictures of paintings they participated in (international, Arab, local) exhibitions.
• Identity or book from the Iraqi Artists Syndicate
• Video tapes or (CD) documenting his artistic activities 0
6- Determining the percentages within the admission plan
• Graduates of the scientific branch (35%)
• Literary branch graduates (25%)
• Graduates of the vocational branch (Applied Arts) with a percentage of (15%)
• Those covered by paragraph (2) above (15%)
• Those covered by paragraph (3) above (10%)
• Controls and conditions for admission to evening studies at universities

• Iraqi Nationality
• Holder of an Iraqi Preparatory School Certificate, supported by the approval of the General Directorate of Education in the governorate, or an equivalent certificate.
• Students who are graduates of preparatory studies are entitled to apply for the two branches (scientific and literary) for evening studies, provided that their total is not less than (420) at a rate of (60%).
• Graduates of the morning and evening vocational preparatory studies for the branch (industry, agriculture, and applied arts) are entitled to apply for evening studies according to the corresponding specializations, provided that their percentage does not exceed 10% of the college admission plan, either for the commercial branch, so their percentage is not more than 10% of the college admission plan, and at a rate of no less than 60%
