The department aims to spread culture and knowledge of the performing arts and study it scientifically in order to achieve the rise in the intellectual level in addition to the numbers of middle cadres in representation and directing, writing and writing for the theater, and studying theatrical techniques scientific study leads to the rise of the artistic and technical level in the field of specialization and knowledge of the history of theater literature.
