The College of Fine Arts receives a student delegation from Al-Wejdan School for Accelerated Education and Complementary Classes

Within the Tamkeen initiative to support talents and empower women, the College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, hosted female teachers and students of Al-Wejdan School for accelerated education and supplementary classes within the framework of community service and strengthening cooperation between the College of Fine Arts and schools throughout the province, as well as introducing the college.
 During the visit, the students were acquainted with a scientific tour inside the corridors of the college, in which they were introduced to the nature of the scientific departments and the artistic productions that the college students accomplish each year.

Then a visit to the branches of sculpture and ceramics followed, where the professors in the department gave simple scientific explanations about sculpture and ceramics and presented simple models to the students of the school.
 After that, the Department of Musical Arts was visited, where the university choir troupe presented traditional and patriotic songs with the participation of students and teachers of the school.

 The principal of Al-Wjdan Al-Sittah School, Furat Al-Fartousi, expressed her thanks to the Dean of the college, the warm welcome, and the importance of the initiative.
