The thesis discussed the topic of the impact of technology on the transformation of the global sculptural form, and it necessitated its study because of its importance, especially that sculpture has become keeping pace with the wheel of scientific and technical development, and that this research tries to stand on the most important formal transformations that occurred due to technical influence.
The thesis aims to reveal the impact of contemporary techniques on the transformation of the contemporary sculptural form and to study the most important techniques that played an important role in the movement of contemporary sculpture in the world.
The thesis concluded that the techniques of cutting and welding in building sculptural forms were not known before, which led to a transformation in the form and the entry of light technology into the sculptural work, as well as the laser technology that inspired the sculptor in the art of sculpture
