The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, held a training course on (Educating the Basics of Handmade).
The course, which was moderated by the assistant teacher Hadeel Iyad and presented by the assistant teacher Nawras Hamid Majeed, included an overview of the definition of hand med and its types.
And work was done in the course on how to make craftsmen of wool and shape it in the form of bags, baskets and bedspreads to be used for daily use and for decoration.
A group of female teachers and employees of our college and Al-Zahra College of Medicine participated in the symposium.
The course aims to teach the mechanisms of the stages of creating things from the formation of the stitch to the final stage of work. The Handmade course lasted for a week. The participants praised the establishment of these courses and took other dimensions of handicraft in other courses during the current year.
