The College of Fine Arts unveils a stereoscopic portrait of the late sculptor Mohamed Ghani Hekmat

Within the directives of the Deanship of the College in transforming the students’ works into works of a functional nature in addition to their aesthetic character, the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, inaugurated a stereoscopic portrait of the late sculptor Muhammad Ghani Hikmat in one of the corners of the garden of the College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, the work of the student’s achievement Hanadi Attia Damad and the prominent works of Al-Qaeda were accomplished by the student Ban Hamid Hadi, and it is part of the requirements for the Sculpture Studio subject for the academic year 2021-2022.
The dimensions of the portrait were 60 cm in width and 70 cm in height. The four murals surrounding the base were 1 square meter in size.
The opening was attended by the head of the Department of Fine Arts, Dr. Asma Samir, and a group of students from the College of Fine Arts.
