Arabic calligraphy workshop at the College of Fine Arts

The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah held an art workshop for Arabic calligraphy as part of the activities of the second day of the annual festival of Arabic calligraphy and the formation of one dimension. Arabic Calligraphy I discussed the secrets of calligraphy, its aesthetics, its types, and how to implement and decorate the manuscript
The lecturer, calligrapher Ali Jassim, spoke about the history and importance of calligraphy and accomplished wonderful models in Arabic calligraphy, showing its importance throughout history and explaining the most important transformations that accompanied this aesthetic art.For his part, Al-Kinani stated that this festival in its second edition is a sufficient indication to continue to encourage and motivate all Basra calligraphers
Al-Kinani added that we invite artistic talents to participate in all exhibitions and workshops held by the college, because it is considered an incubator for talents and energies.
The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Amir Abdullah Al-Mousawi, the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Wasit University, Prof. Dr. Sami Ali Hussein, and a group of students from the Faculty of Fine Arts
