The College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, holds a scientific lecture on the Arabic letter in contemporary Arab formation

The College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, held a lecture on the Arabic letter in contemporary Arab formation. The lecture held by Professor Dr. Mohsen Ali Hussein included a presentation of the employment of the Arabic letter, which is one of the topics that the Arab plastic artist is interested in, as it embodies an important aspect of the Arab plastic identity.
The lecture, which was held in the Great Exhibition Hall as part of the activities of the second annual festival of Arabic calligraphy and the formation of one dimension, discussed the reality of this embodiment and the paradoxes of traditional calligraphy painting from the calligraphic plastic work and highlighting the outcomes of this employment both aesthetically and objectively, except if the letter was isolated or combined.
