The Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Art Education Department in our college, held a workshop (Child Play Writing)
The workshop included the theatrical text, which is one of the literary genres, but it is distinguished from the rest of the literary genres in that it is written in order to be embodied on the stage of the theatrical performance.. The theatrical text consists of parts such as the idea, the main and secondary characters, dialogue, plot and conflict.. The theatrical text is classified into two main categories: tragedy and comedy. There are many doctrines of writing for theater in various sects, schools, and orientations, such as classical, romantic, realistic, expressive, absurd, absurd, epic, and others. The aim of the workshop when writing a theatrical text directed to the child, must be taken into account that the idea is clear and understandable for the children and that the dialogue is proportional to their age stage and that the dialogue does not contain words out of taste in addition to the selection of characters is supposed to be subject to a special context, especially the characters who Be close to children, such as humanized animal characters and characters that receive positive interaction in the children's world.
