The Department of Plastic Arts holds an exhibition of ceramic products (evening study) entitled “A Clay Tale.”

The College of Fine Arts, University of Basra, Department of Plastic Arts, held a comprehensive exhibition of ceramic products (evening study) entitled “The Tale of Clay.” The exhibition, which was held in the Great Exhibition Hall of the College of Fine Arts, included more than 100 works of art using clay only.
The diversity of the completed artworks, whose themes are derived from the Iraqi reality and environment, including supportive of national issues calling for unity and harmony.The exhibition aims to highlight the artistic productions, and it is a summary of a joint effort of the supervising professors who presented their visions and their knowledge and technical experiences in managing the academic lesson and supervising these student productions from the first stages of preparing the idea until the stages of the final work.
In this exhibition, the students seek to show a great deal of expressive and aesthetic energies that embroidered their productions in an academic manner that suits the aesthetic and artistic curriculum.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, and the exhibition was attended by the scientific assistant, Prof. Tahrir Ali and Prof. Asma Samir, head of the Fine Arts Department, and a group of professors and students of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
