The College of Fine Arts at Basra University held a workshop on the mechanism of publishing in international journals. The workshop included a lecture presented by the researcher, Dr. Issa Ahmed Abd.

 Where the workshop discussed how to come up with sober research that serves the researcher and the scientific institution. The workshop also dealt with the causes of the decline in research and qualifications that help in the integration of research, such as examining plagiarism using sober programs, how to avoid it, how to promote journals with an impact factor, what is, and how to increase the researcher's h-index. The workshop aimed to research the advantages of scientifically sound journals as well as the advantages of sober research
