  The thesis presented by researcher Ali Hussein Nasir Al-Battat included the subject of ceramic art and its working mechanisms, which continue to dominate in the scientific aspect and chemical development and the addition of new methods and methods in the methods of formation and glazing.
The thesis discussed the subject of ceramics, which presented a wide range of philosophical concepts in its artistic productions to prove that it is one of the most important arts of formation and does not depart from it as an artistic or aesthetic content, but rather that it brought together all in one. The thesis aims to identify the discourse of renewal and the pragmatism of performance in contemporary Iraqi ceramics.
The thesis concluded that being influenced by the popular and religious cultural heritage helped create an independent artistic personality for the Iraqi potter, a clear-cut personality and he can point out that this ceramic work is an Iraqi work without paying attention to the name of the potter, so we see the ceramic products of the Iraqi potters despite the plurality of society and the difference Its spectra have clear basic foundations and carry a lot of stability.
