A doctoral thesis at the University of Basra examines the dialectic of the infinite and the infinite in Islamic art

a doctoral thesis has been researched at the College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, the dialectic of the finite and the infinite in Islamic art
The thesis presented by the researcher, Tawfiq Naim Sahi, included the subject of the concepts of the finite and the infinite as a dialectical dualism that was achieved by multiple sources in this existence, and they have many operations and premises that shed light on Islamic art in particular.
The thesis discussed the dialectic of the finite and the infinite through the concept of the real and supposed issue, as well as the use of analysis and interpretation mechanisms as means to demonstrate the finite and the infinite.

The aim of the thesis is to identify the dialectic of the finite and the infinite in Islamic art, where it was limited to the analytical study of models of Islamic arts in the Abbasid era in the Mughal, Timurid and Safavid periods through documented sources of Islamic art, which leads to the coverage of the research community.

The thesis concluded that the concept of the infinite in Islamic art is broader in analysis, interpretation and interpretation than the finite.
