The Continuing Education Division at the College of Fine Arts holds a symposium on drugs and their negative effects on the individual and society

Fine Arts at the University of Basra in cooperation with the College of Education for Girls, the Basra Police Directorate and the Psychological and Educational Counseling Unit at the College of Fine Arts, a seminar entitled (Drugs and their negative effects on the individual and society)
The seminar, which was prepared by M. Saja Yasser Hussein, and in cooperation with
Brigadier General Basem Ghanem Hanoun
And M. Alia Abdel-Zahra
The symposium identified many important axes and topics related to (awareness and educational programs to define the cause of drug spread, find ways and solutions, and how to get rid or limit its spread) The symposium aims to introduce drugs, their types, methods of abuse, how to treat them, the legal consequences for both the promoter and the abuser, the behavioral effects that result from the addicted person, and how to deal with them.
The symposium was very effective in terms of discussion by the attendees through the questions that were raised and answered by the specialists.
The symposium was attended by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, the scientific assistant, Prof. Tahrir Ali Hussein, and a group of professors, employees and students of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
