A master's thesis at the University of Basrah examines the social contrast in Arab theater literature

A master’s thesis at the College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, examined social contrast in Arab theater literature. The thesis presented by the researcher (Roaa Fawzi Mardan) included the topic of social contrast in contemporary Arab theater literature by monitoring the variables and factors of exporting social contradictions that have a prominent impact on the production of the variable through monitoring thought. And human behavior, which has become deeply entrenched in provoking contradictions that have contributed to the destruction of the sound social structure.
The thesis discussed several axes of contradiction in social studies, social contradiction in international theater literature and social contradiction in Arab theater literature. The thesis concluded that the social contrast was presented in the Arab theatrical text as an effective tool in bringing society closer to the art of theater because it is the product of a societal need.
