A master’s thesis at the College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, examined the manifestations of intersectionality in the performance of the acts of the Iraqi theater actor. Opening up to the other self.
The thesis discussed several axes, including intersubjectivity between the performance of the actor's actions and theatrical elements, intersubjectivity in the psychological perspective, intersubjectivity in the sociological perspective The thesis aims at identifying the intellectual and artistic manifestations of the concept of intersubjectivity and its relationship with the elements of theatrical performance and the mechanisms of their operation in the performance of the Iraqi theater actor.
The thesis concluded that the inter-subjective relationship in the process of communication between the self and the other self in the performance of the theatrical actor relied on activating the sensory channels in communication with other characters and actors.
