The Division of Continuing Education at the College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, held an attendance workshop entitled The History and Importance of the Internet
The workshop, which was moderated by M. M. Saja Yasser Hussain and was attended by M. Dr. Iqbal Jassim Jaafar, included the topic of the Internet, which is one of the most important inventions of our time, which entered all areas of life and made the world a small village that enabled humanity to communicate quickly and exchange information and data and the completion of various works.
The workshop aims to identify the origins of the Internet, its stages of development, its designers and developers, its work structure, the protocols that control the transfer of data across it, and the benefits it brings.
The symposium was also attended by a group of professors, staff and students of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
