Under the auspices of the President of Basra University, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani.
The Department of Audiovisual Arts at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra presented a collection of Iraqi films as part of the events and activities of the Floating Book Fair on board the international ship "Logos Hope".

The head of the Department of Audio and Visual Arts, Dr. Ayman Kazem, said, "A specialized committee of the department's professors supervised the selection of the participating films in a precise manner and in line with the orientations of this cultural and tourism event."

And between "we have been keen on the diversity of films to be suitable for different segments of the audience, so it came in three sections: (fiction, documentaries, and animation films), and this diversity has received remarkable acceptance and interaction."
