A doctoral thesis at the University of Basra discusses the formal unpredictability in contemporary global sculpture

His doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra discussed the formal unpredictability in contemporary global sculpture.
The thesis presented by the researcher Manal sabit Salem included the study of formal unpredictability and why it is necessary to reveal sculptural works that embodied their forms unexpectedly by transforming them from their expected form into a strange form that shocks the recipient, which in turn opens horizons to multiple decisions.
The thesis aims to reveal the formal unpredictability in contemporary world sculpture within the temporal limits of the period from 1990 to 2020.
The formal unpredictability presents a state of differentiation and difference in which sculptural works appear that achieve a new vision and status that enter into a new and non-recurring scope.
