His doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra discussed the rationality of the communicative act in the interactive theatrical performance.
The thesis presented by the researcher Ayad Salem Ismail Taha included the concept of communication, which is an interactive rational relationship between a person and the surrounding environmental data, especially in a period of time when conflicts and wars have increased, and here communication becomes an idea representing political, social, moral, linguistic, economic and cultural horizons.

The thesis aims to reveal the interactive presentations that constitute an important transition in the theory of presentation and the levels of reception in it in order to reach the full picture of the research.

The thesis concluded that the different cultural backgrounds of the recipients lead to a plurality of opinions and points of view, and this is reflected in the form of communication of the recipient with the interactive theatrical performance.
