A master's thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra discussed the aesthetics of photography in the Safavid era 
The message presented by the researcher Naim jaseb Aziz included explaining the emergence of Islamic photography, its schools and Safavid photography specifically, where the civilization of the Safavid state is one of the civilizations that left a prominent impact on human history and many scientific, economic and cultural achievements, including the artistic side, where it flourished greatly during that time period.

The thesis aims to identify the aesthetics of Safavid photography and to search for its roots in the history of that civilization and its development and the extent of its influence and influence on other arts.

The letter concluded that the Safavid artist has a great role in the March of Islamic art and has made great strides forward through his intellectual foundations, especially with regard to the concept of beauty.
