Under the patronage of the president of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, assistant professor Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani.
The Department of art education at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra, held the personal exhibition of student Zahra Ahmed entitled Aphrodite under the supervision of assistant teacher Hadeel Ayad today, Wednesday, 8-11-2023, on the Great Exhibition Hall at the college.
The exhibition aims to highlight the value of the portrait art style, which is considered one of the unique arts practiced by the academic artist in his academic studies, and urges the artist through her works to draw characters in multiple styles and different materials.
The exhibition included more than 40 works of art, all of which were executed in oil, watercolor, pencil and crayon.
The exhibition was opened by the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Maher al-ketaibani, and the head of the art education department, teacher Dr. Salah Naima, and a gathering of professors, staff and students of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
