A master's thesis in the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra discussed the impact of the reportage on developing the capabilities of middle school students to practice democracy in Iraq. The thesis presented by researcher Ali Jaber Mutaib contained four chapters. The first chapter dealt with a type of theater performance that employs a media type, which is the reportage, transforming it into a dramatic show As for the second chapter, it contains three topics. The first section is entitled The concept of reportage and research reportage in the media and its relationship to the arts of journalism. Then the second topic entitled theater and democracy dealt with historical stages in which theater mixed with democracy. Then the third topic is entitled to employ the reportage in theatrical presentation, and the third chapter referred to the adoption of the experimental method, where the researcher applied the experiment and used statistical means to find the results. The research aims to identify the impact of the theatrical performance that the reportage presents as a dramatic exhibition on developing the capabilities of middle school students to practice democracy in Iraq.
