The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra –Department of Plastic Arts organized the workshop of Raku technology and its applications.
The workshop in which A.Dr. Ali Hussein Alwan and A.M.Dr. Roula Abdellah Alwan and M.Dr. Saif Nasr Abdul-Sajjad and M. Ahmed Abdul Munshid explained in detail and practically about the Raku technique, a technique used in making and finishing ceramic pots, which is famous for focusing on manual work and the fast process of burning ceramic pieces in high grades, and is also considered a traditional art that is still popular in many countries around the world.
