Through the message of the presidency of the University of Basra and the Faculty of Fine Arts to open up to the community and build bridges of communication, the Faculty of Fine Arts-Department of plastic arts held a scientific visit on the banks of the Shatt al-Arab under the supervision of A.M.Dr. Ali Ahmed and a group of students of the Department of plastic arts, the painting branch, the second stage, and this beautiful location was chosen because of the distinction of this area (Shatt al-Arab) by the nature of its beauty and attracted visitors greatly because it enjoys stunning views in addition to cultural monuments such as the Marketing Hall of artistic products, students enjoyed watching the art exhibition of the Faculty of Fine Arts, and it included ceramic and sculptural artistic products and paintings, and they also participated in drawing some diagrams ( Skegat ) to gain technical expertise and communicate with the local community to develop their skills and creative abilities.
The aim of this trip is to give the student an opportunity to explore the artists ' locations, interact with them and achieve a new experience that increases their artistic knowledge.
