Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad Kazim, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, assistant professor Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani, and within the mission of the Faculty of Fine Arts to open up to the community and build bridges of cooperation. 
The College of Fine Arts, University of Basra, received female students of Shangiti preparatory for girls, where the visit included a set of activities and events and a visit to the Departments of the college, starting from the Department of plastic arts and visiting all branches of the department.it was a distinctive experience for the students because of their active participation and their artistic experience with the students of the Department of plastic arts, followed by a visit to the Department of musical arts. they were received by the head of the Department of musical arts, Mr.The students and teachers of the Department presented a set of pieces and songs related to the Iraqi heritage in order to share them with the students and motivate them to continue their tour to the rest of the departments and throughout the Faculty of Fine Arts.
The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra still receives all talented institutions and students from the schools of the province to develop and support talents and extend bridges of cooperation to all segments of society.
