The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, Department of plastic arts participated in the art exhibition of scientific products of Iraqi universities held on the sidelines of the scientific conference of the Union of Arab universities in its session ٥٦ hosted by Iraq at the University of Baghdad.
The participation included thirty-five artistic works of paintings, ceramic and sculptural works produced by the Department of plastic arts under the supervision of M.Dr. Raed Hassan Shree, head of the Department of plastic arts and A.M.Dr. mayad Mehdi Lifta and student organizers Haider Mohammed Kazim and Mustafa Salem Jaber.
The exhibition was attended by His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, and the president of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad Kazim.
