Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad Kazim, and under the supervision and support of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, A.M.Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani
The College of Fine Arts, Basra University, Department of Art Education organized the first personal exhibition of the student Mawda Abdul Karim entitled Black and white.the exhibition, which was held in the Great Exhibition Hall at the College of Fine Arts, included a number of artworks, all executed in charcoal with black and white technology, with topics including Still Life and portrait, under the supervision of M. A.M. Fadia Akil.
The exhibition was opened by the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts A.M.Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani accompanied by M.Dr. Salah Nima Abdel Aali, head of the art education department, and a group of professors and students of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
