Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra A.Dr. Mohannad Jawad Kazim, under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, A.M.Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani 
The Faculty of Fine Arts, the women's affairs unit, in cooperation with the art education department and the Community Police Directorate, held an attendance seminar on the problem of violence: controls of the law, reflections of thought and art, which was held today, Thursday, 3/7/2024, in the discussion hall at the Faculty of Fine Arts 
The seminar was conducted by A.Dr. Abdullah Abdul Ali
Rapporteur of the meeting : M. M. Fadia Akil and under the supervision of the director of the women's Affairs Unit at the College, Mrs. Khadija Shoukry Faisal, important scientific papers for five researchers, one of which was a class for the community police, represented by B - presenter : montazir Kazem nehma and his research( family violence and its impact on achieving community stability).
The other four researchers presented their research as follows   :
A.Dr. Hassan Abboud al-Nakhila: (Man Without Violence: a vision in the ultimate Realizer of beauty)
A.M. Hassan Taleb Janzi: (manifestations of violence against women and its repercussions in plastic art)
M.Dr. Attention Mohammed Jassim: (nonviolence - feminist discourse and the bet of social change).
M . Haider Jafar Saadoun: (the image of violence against women in the Iraqi theatrical performance).
The symposium concluded with the confirmation of its recommendations, follow-up and work on its completion.
The session was attended by the assistant to the president of the University for Scientific Affairs A.Dr. Ali Rashk and dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts A.M.Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani gathered professors, staff and students of the college.
