The thesis presented by the researcher Firas Abdul-Jabbar Abdul-Thabet included the concept of cosmopolitanism by delving into the origin and meaning of this concept and its intellectual considerations, as it is a valuable perspective that reinforces its rejection of the closed borders of societies and roots for the principle of openness and acceptance of the other.

The thesis aims to provide a unique study of cosmopolitanism and investigate its representation in the post-2003 Iraqi scene, in particular in the light of its work in the contemporary global formation.

The thesis concluded that the representation of cosmopolitanism came in the global formation through the expression of condemnation of the American occupation of Iraq, which called for the presentation of human moral positions in solidarity and sympathy with the Iraqi scene.
