The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, the women's affairs unit, in cooperation with the Department of Plastic Arts, organized an art exhibition and a bazaar entitled visual works in the Pioneers Hall at the College, which was opened by the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, assistant professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Abdul Thabet al-Baydani.
The exhibition aims to highlight and display handmade artistic products and encourage students to a good artistic product under the supervision of M.M. Nourse Hamid Majid and M.M. M. Musa Hassan and M. M.M. wajdan Shahid Mohammed and Mrs. Khadija Shukri Faisal, head of the women's affairs unit.
The exhibition included a number of handmade artworks and an exhibition of paintings executed in oil colors embodying women and their products for the occasion of Mother's day.
