The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra organized an intellectual lecture on the transformations of modernity in contemporary Iraqi art.
The lecture aimed at introducing the concept of modernity and its reflection in the history of modern Iraqi art, as well as revealing its cognitive, aesthetic and philosophical mechanisms and its cultural, social and psychological dimensions.
The lecture in which the teacher attended included M.Dr. Osama Nouri Nasser to introduce the concept of contemporary art and how pioneering artists influenced the Eighties, Nineties and post-2003 generation
