His doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra examined the strategy of deconstruction of personality in the Arabic theatrical text.
The thesis presented by the researcher Salah Hamadi jazzy aims to reveal and identify the reasons for the dismantling of the personality and ways to achieve it in the theatrical text.
The thesis included explaining the subject of dismantling the personality procedurally as a phenomenon of destruction, distortion and loss to which the character is exposed in the theatrical text and measuring the extent of its incoherent thought, inconsistent dialogue and role that contradicts vitality and will.  
The thesis concluded that a disjointed personality is a personality that passes through two stages, each of which paves the way for the other through a set of sequential steps.
