The sixth Baghdad International Theater Festival, held from October 10 to 16, 2025, witnessed the active and distinguished attendance of a number of professors of the Faculty of Fine Arts / University of Basra, who contributed a prominent role in enriching the events through their critical contributions. Dr. Hazem Abdul Majid, Dr. Hassan Abboud al Nakhila, assistant professor Dr. Haider Saleh Dasher and assistant professor moibed Khalaf Rashid participated in providing critical feedback on the theatrical performances within the festival's activities, which contributed to opening rich dialogue spaces between artists, critics and the public, and deepening the theatrical experience.
This participation confirms the leading role played by the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra in supporting theatrical and artistic activity locally and internationally, and reflects the outstanding academic level of its professors.
The Deanship of the Faculty of Fine Arts, represented by Professor Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, expressed her wishes to the participating professors for further success and success in their scientific and creative career, and to continue representing the University in cultural and artistic forums at the highest levels.
