Under the auspices of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the Faculty of Fine Arts organized an awareness seminar entitled "adapting to university life".
The seminar aims to support students in developing their academic and social skills and enhancing their ability to positively integrate into the university environment, which contributes to the development of their personalities and achieving psychological and academic balance during their academic career.
The seminar, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Aseel Intisar Hashim, included several topics that addressed ways to enhance students ' self-confidence, effective time management, developing study and communication skills, in addition to introducing the university services and extracurricular activities that help students achieve success and adapt to the requirements of university life.
