Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jaafar, the women's Affairs Unit at the Faculty of Fine Arts organized an awareness seminar entitled " Schopenhauer's philosophy.. The intellectual content of women".
The seminar aims to introduce Schopenhauer's philosophy of women, which cannot be read as a philosophical truth, but must be understood within a pessimistic intellectual system and historical texts that reflect her cultural environment.
The seminar, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Qusay Abdul Abbas Rady, dealt with the topic of Schopenhauer's philosophy, which is one of the most influential and controversial philosophies in Arab thought, especially with regard to the vision of women.
