The College of Fine Arts at Basra University holds an electronic lecture on porcelain material and ther effect in the contemporary ceramic sculpture


The Faculty of Fine Arts at Basra University held a lecture entitled Porcelain Raw and its Impact on the Enrichment of Contemporary Ceramic Sculpture. The lecture was presented by Dr. Dina Rayhan, who taught at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University  which The lecture included in its first part a historical brief on the uses of porcelain material  and the  Civilizations that have added this material to the production of ceramic sculptures on the world level
In addition to the importance of this material in its technical and utilitarian uses, which are considered one of the noble raw materials, more than 100 researchers, students and interested in this field from Iraq and the Arab world attended the lecture that was held through the application  zoom. Where a number of researchers interfered in expressing questions and comments on the lecture and the valuable information contained in it
It is worth noting that these lectures come within the launch of the activities of the electronic week, which is sponsored by the President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, where a group of weekly scientific and artistic lectures and workshops will be on the  electronic platform to support the scientific on the practical side for students as well as those interested in the field of fine arts.
