Under the patronage of the president of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, assistant professor Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani.

The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra hosted the personal exhibition of the artist Sabri al-Malki entitled me and Ishtar on Sunday, 5-11-2023 at the Great Exhibition Hall of the college.

The exhibition aims to highlight the value of the abstract expressionist art style, which is considered one of the unique arts practiced by this artist, and to establish his serious experience of building a personal and trapped in his paintings.

The exhibition included more than 50 works of Art, All executed in oil colors, inspired by the tragedy of Iraqi women as they face their lives with the deep and great continuous tragedies that poured into every Iraqi home.

The exhibition was opened by the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, assistant professor Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani, and a gathering of professors, staff and students of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
