A new building for the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra within the social benefits of the Basra Oil Company

Due to the continuous support and joint cooperation between the local government in Basra governorate and the Faculty of Fine Arts, Basra governorate engineer Asaad Al-Eidani was approved to develop an additional building for the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra consisting of four floors on an area of 2000 meters within the social benefits of Basra Oil Company designed by a French company, within the project plan for 2025.
The dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, met today with the first deputy governor of Basra, Mr. Zaid al-Amara, and Mr. Walaa Abdul Karim, director of the planning department at the provincial court. During the meeting, the importance of Fine Arts in Basra society and its role in promoting local culture and arts were discussed.
The dean stressed that this new building will contribute to the development of technical education at the University of Basra and provide a distinguished learning environment for students. He also pointed out the importance of supporting the government sector in improving the infrastructure of the University, which is an investment in education and the arts and building a promising future for future generations.
