Under the auspices of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jaafar, the Continuing Education Unit at the Faculty of Fine Arts organized an awareness seminar entitled "school application to develop teachers 'skills and educational leadership".
The seminar aims to highlight the importance of educational leadership and its active role in developing the academic and educational performance of teachers, as well as enhancing their skills in managing the educational situation and building a positive student personality capable of interaction and creativity within the classroom.
The seminar, presented by Prof. Dr. Saif al-Din Abdul Wadud, teacher Dr. Marwa Nizar Youssef, and teacher Dr. Zainab Abdul Hafez Jassim, included several topics, most notably: the importance of school application in developing the skills of students and teachers, the role of modern teaching methods in the development of the educational process, in addition to emphasizing the need to pay attention to classroom observation and practical application from the first stage in university studies to the fourth stage.
The seminar concluded with a set of recommendations that stressed the importance of consolidating the concepts of educational leadership in the academic environment, and intensifying developmental workshops and seminars to enhance the efficiency of teachers and enable them to perform their educational and professional role with the highest quality.
